College History

  Anchor Baptist Bible College and Seminary was started in 1988, as a ministry of Anchor Baptist Church of Salt Lake City, Utah, whose pastor was Dr. Thomas Corkish.

   Anchor Baptist Bible College and Seminary is unique among Bible Colleges and Seminaries, in that it combines all of the following:

• It is Historic Baptist in doctrine
• It is totally local church orinted
• It is Texus Receptus, (King James)
• It is Bible centered, not liberal arts or methods oriented
• It is quality academic training, not a degree mill.
• It is music that is conservative and God honoring
• It is comparetively inexpensive, as it is a church ministry
• It is one of the most thorough Bible study and Bible based         curriculums available
